Coty and Anne Pratt- Anne's stepmother is diagnosed with thyroid cancer, her name is Pam Kintner, Coty's aunt died tuesday 12/16, Mallory and Megan Waggoner- (twins) Seniors at Airline High with encephalitis and other possible illnesses

David Fontenot- Eddie Sanders- has cancer/tumor on one of his kidneys, will need surgery

Will Patton - has cancer and going through Chemo treatments

December 14th Prayer Requests

Eric and Tiffany Newman- the health of a friend's marriage

Janean Sharp- knee surgery on the 17th (wednesday) to repair torn ACL

Ellender- friend's 2 children age 12 and 14 ran away from home friday; still waiting for call from EACI on adoption

Hadwin- Chris is working in New Orleans during the week and coming home on the weekends. Pray for his safety while he is away and for me and the kids while he is gone

Lee- friend Kristi Rhodes is recovering from an infection and will begin chemo in a week

Additional Prayer Request

Hi, everyone. I just wanted to share this with everyone, so we can all be praying. A B-52 crashed off of Guam today, and the crew flying it was deployed from Barksdale. No information has been released yet about what happened or if everybody's okay. All I know is that it happened. We need to pray that everyone was alright and for the families of the guys deployed to Guam right now who may be hearing about this.

Class mission project

Our class will be collecting school supplies on Sunday, July 27th for a local elementary school. This school has many children who do not bring the needed supplies to their classroom. Much of this responsibility falls on the classroom teacher. Many of these teachers spend their own money to fill in this gap for their students. Items such as crayons, watercolor paint, construction paper, and glue are great for their classroom since most of these children do not experience this at home like most of our children.

This is a great way for us to minister to not only the school and students, but to these teachers who may be looking for a church family!

Thanks, Gene, for the lesson today! It was a good message with some great discussion!

We talked about the traits we should portray as Christians to reach others for Him. Everyone had a lot of useful input.

Judson and Rachal Smith- please pray for their neighbor, Michelle Morehouse whose husband, Alex, died lastnight from an accidental, self-inflicted gunshot. please pray for her and their friends, Shane, Alisha, Trey, and Kelly as they begin to deal with this tragedy.
